The store name used by The Ebor Jetworks is a trading name of S.C. Steele. The domain names are likewise the property of S.C. Steele. All other trademarks, product names and company names or logos cited herein are the property of their respective owners.
The contract between us
We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted.
Dispatch times
We do not carry are large stock of any individual item, many are made to order and therefore cannot always be dispatched immediately. However we will always endeavour to meet any deadline, so please inform us if an item is required urgently.
Product Description
We always try to make our item description as accurate as possible however this is handmade jewellery and as such each piece will show slight variations especially in the stone colour and markings, if a specific shade is required please indicate it to us upon ordering.
Metals
All the settings designed by us are cast professionally in Birmingham from nickel free Sterling Silver or 9ct yellow Gold.
Hallmarking
If the weight of the setting requires it to be hallmarked, it is marked with my makers mark along with the metal standard, date letter and Yorkshire Rose of the Sheffield Assay office.
Chains and Earwires
Various chain lengths and types are available please ask. We can change dangly earrings onto leverback or stud fittings for a minimal charge if you prefer them.
Lost Earrings
If the setting is still in production it is often possible to match a replacement odd earring.
Returns
If you are unhappy with the product in any way please return it to us within 7 days in the original packaging and using appropriate postage to obtain a full refund minus P&P.
Repairs
If a product is accidentally damaged or faulty we will always replace or repair if possible as customer satisfaction is very important to us.
Caring for the Jewellery
Please do not use silver dips on my jewellery as they can be very corrosive on the stones. Simply clean the metal and jet with liquid brasso on a soft cotton jersey fabric. Slate, thulite, verdite, and amazonite will then require a brief scrub with a soapy toothbrush to clean them up. Do not clean the chain with brasso as you will get a black neck, I would usually recommend a silver cloth.
